Thierry Burger-Helmchen is a professor in Management Science. He is the author of more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals such asInternational Journal of Information Management,Long Range Planning,Industry and Innovation, and also published several books (textbooks and research books) on economics and management. He served as dean of the faculty of economics and management of Strasbourg. He is currently deputy vice-president for learning and teaching at the University of Strasbourg (56,000 students).

内容简介:
In the age of knowledge and digital technology, information dissemination is becoming increasingly rapid and widespread, and competition in international markets is becoming increasingly fierce. Facing the uncertain external environment, organizations and individuals need to be creative to adapt to environmental changes. For transnational corporations, their business activities are usually located in different country regions, and how to utilize the creativity of these geographically distributed business teams is a question for their management to consider.This study focuses on how a transnational corporation leverages the creativity of its research and develop teams located in different countries to develop new products. The company has studios in Canada, France, China and Japan, and these four studios work together to develop the same new product. Research methods such as real-time recordings and interviews are used to explore how this company stimulates the creativity of its R&D team and promotes the mechanism of new product development, and to summarize relevant multinational management practices.
在知识与数字技术时代,信息传播日益快速与广泛,国际市场竞争日趋激烈。面对不确定的外部环境,需要组织与个人具有创造力以适应环境的变化。对于跨国公司而言,其业务活动通常分布于不同的国别区域,如何发挥这些分布不同地理区位的业务团队创造性,是跨国公司管理层需要思考的问题。本研究关注一家跨国公司如何发挥位于不同国家研发团队的创造力,研发新产品的过程。该公司在加拿大、法国、中国和日本设有工作室,这四个工作室共同开发同一款新产品。通过实时记录、访谈等研究方法探讨这家跨国公司如何激发研发团队的创造力,促进新产品研发的机制,并总结出相关跨国管理实践。
